Zoe Reardon

A recent college graduate with a passion for mission and volunteer work, she earned her bachelor of science in business and world languages from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas

 

volunteered to help doctors assist children with physical therapy

Attending the university on a four-year, merit-based Second Century Scholarship, she was also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society and a peer academic leader in her commons. She previously attended the Atlanta International School (AIS), where she earned an international baccalaureate diploma and tutored students with learning difficulties in Spanish, chemistry, and geography. 

Zoe Reardon received a scholarship at AIS to travel to Nepal, where she volunteered to help doctors assist children with physical therapy in Kathmandu and Chitwan. She also passed out dental hygiene kits and educated students about proper dental care. She has additional mission work experience in Mexico. There, she spent one week in the village of General Cepeda and helped build a gym and deliver food to people in remote areas.

MakING a Difference

In addition to her volunteer service, Reardon has work experience as a children’s theater instructor at the Alliance Theatre. She spent two summers at the Atlanta, Georgia-based regional theater company and led one-week camps for youth between the ages of 4 and 6. Her duties included teaching basic theater skills and supervising the children in a production at the end of each camp session. Additionally, Reardon was a team manager responsible for leading other junior instructors in her first year with the theatre and performed business analyst functions the following year.

Other Jobs include Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, where she also serves as a guest service staff member, the resort has earned the distinction of being one of the top upscale guest ranch resorts in the country.

Other interests include photography and horseback riding. She particularly enjoys shooting natural scenes and iconic landmarks. A former competitive horseback rider, she won several regional United States Equestrian Federation events in Atlanta and placed first in her division at the Southern Hunter Jumper Association finals. She also qualified for the 2016 National Pony Finals.
